Success Stories

Here are some of our Success Stories: short anecdotes that illustrate just what your donations are accomplishing! Supporters receive detailed information on the performance and progress of the children at regular intervals.

May 2013 – Tazmin has been supported at the Nasavusavu School for Special Education by the Rotary Club of Fern Tree Gully in Melbourne, Australia. We were delighted to hear that Tazmin has recently been ‘promoted’ to the Nasavusavu Primary School as a result of her great progress. Well done Tazmin – and of course our very best wishes for your future and our thanks to the Rotary Club of Fern Tree Gully for making this possible for Tazmin and her family.

December 2012 – Nine students from Lavena Primary School, sponsored by a range of supporters through the Rotary Club of Templestowe have graduated to high school and their sponsorship will continue through 2013 thanks to these very generous people. This may not have been possible without your help!

December 2012 – Cyclone Evan devastated parts of Fiji with wind gusts up top 270 kmh recorded.  But the good news…? The new pre-school built in June 2012 by the Rotary Club of Templestowe and Deakin University ABCD Project team was left intact and totally unscathed, providing shleter for many of the residents of Lavena and the surrounding settlements. Testimony indeed to the designers, the builders and the benefits to be gained from inspiring partnerships.
